I'm going to be doing a Seafoam tune up on the car here shortly and I need some time frame and concentration advice:
I'm going to start out by putting it in my oil. I was planning on putting a half a bottle in for about 500 miles or less probably before I change the oil and filter.
This sound good? Too long, too short, too much, too little?
Then I was going to put a whole bottle into my intake and let it work out?
Would the line going to the brake booster feed all cylinders?
Again, too much, too little?
Then the other half a bottle into my gas after this.
Basically, I'm going to be doing a good tune up on the car because it pings from time to time, so I think I have some build up going on, and I'm going to be taking it on vacation with me in August. This will be my first time using Seafoam myself.

I've heard not to put it in your oil...
Without looking at the link above...this is what I have heard to do:
Run some through your gas.
Run some through your engine.
Change your oil
Done.

You can put it into your oil. I put it into my oil, gas and through the brake booster.

My dad was told by a good mechanic friend of ours that it was perfectly fine to put into the oil. Especially good if you are burning oil.

Don't know...just blurting out the ever accurate information I have procured off the interweb...it's on the net...it must be true...
Which is quite the dilemma...because now it is on the net that it is safe to use...so...both are true.

So the brake booster line does feed the entire top end? Because a lot of places recommend using PCV lines, but mine are sort of difficult to use now...

Thanks for that link Herb, answered most of my questions. I guessed pretty good with 2 cans.

some people put about 10-20% of the can into the oil, another 10% in their fuel, and after certain mileage run 50% of the remainder through the motor, then the rest about a week later.
me? i just run around half the can through the motor and call it a day.

I'm with thomas, too much work for the other. I run about half a can through the car and call it done.
Also, I use the brake booster, even when I had true duals it came out both sides so I figured that's enough proof it goes through the whole engine.

Unless you have a crossover...then it could just be merging at the cross.

Scew all that with putting some in later. I'm just going to put it in the oil, booster, and tank once.

That was before my x-pipe.
True duals (no crossover at all) it came out both sides.
