2001 V6 Mustang performance chip question. I have an 01 V6 mustang and I was wondering if purchasinga performance chip was worth it. How much do these things actually help. Also were could I find a good one for under $250 if possible?

A custom tune only works best when you have modifications done to the engine. Have you done anything to the car what-so-ever?

A tune on a stock car will not give you very much gain... you will increase your gas milage and the car will drive better (if done right) and if its an auto your car will shift better.

I have added flowmaster dual exhaust, a cold air intake and it has also been lowered.

I would do UDP's also. Dont buy a off the shelf chip. Get it tunned.
