my parents bought me an 01 v6 for my birthday (wouldnt let me get a GT) and where ever i go in my car i look around and all i see are chicks driving sixers. what can i do so i dont feel so girlish?

Get a custom dyno tune....some other basic bolt ons...and you will feel a lot more peppy if you are an auto. Kyle here is pretty peppy and can hold his own with 99-04 stock auto GT's...and 94-98 GT's.

Other than that, with the 2 cylinder delete kit...you will need to turbo or SC your motor to get any real good gains....or at least stroke it to 4.2/4.3L...and then turbo/sc.

Put a 2.25" exhaust in, 373 or410 gears in the rear end, get it tuned, pick up some nice rims, drop the car.

After thats done we can talk more on engine matters, but a 6 is really expensive to make power with. Take it from me, over 4g's into the engine and Im just barely over 180rwhp I believe. BUT I am not dyno tuned, nor do I have a manual. Both of which would put my car into 200-220hp range.

well if you had it for a little while, you could try to trade it in for a 99-04 gt. and you should be happy with what you got. i dont know many ppl that their parents bought their first car for them, let alone a mustang. Most of my friends in hs were driving pieces of sh!t. count your blessings and stop complaining.

Think of it like this, the only other v6 mustang that will run with your 01 stock for stock is an 05+.
