I'm going to say no because they are a 3 valve head and your's are a 2 valve head. I don't believe everything is going to line up right (intake runners and all that technical stuff).
Any motor experts have an opinion? I'm shooting from the hip here based on my general knowledge...

I'm going to look tomorrow...I remember seeing someone with a set for sale recently. In fact, they might be for sale on this site. Check out the classifieds...I almost remember seeing a set for sale on here.
EDIT: LOTS FOR SALE/HEADS n cams/hood/spoiler/rims

yes they do *work*.
there is a guy on stangnet called billfisher, he has a 5.4l bottom end with 3v heads. it took him alot of work to get there though, IMO id rather just work the 2v heads to do flow the same as even 4v heads than try the swap
i think he dynoed at 330hp/360tq. he has no other modifications other than what is done to the motor (so no bolt-ons or anything)

And nothing about that post matches his situation. He doesn't have a 5.4L bottom end.

why not upgrade to 4 valve heads if you are going to do it, or do those not work

i was thinking of going to 4 valve but i like the flow chart of the 3 valve...i was told that the 06 heads do bolt directly onto the 99 but wasnt sure of valve cover clearance and other clearance issues...i am going to take pure venoms advice and not go with it...i would rather get 2 valve and get them ported and polished thanks everyone

So you admit to fudging the story, then.
Sounds like that is what you are saying to me

umm, ok, the main part of the post was that a guy on stangnet has 3v heads on a motor that much like our cars, used to be a sohc 2v.
ill admit to adding additional details about his setup, in which those details had little to do with the OP as 4.6 and 5.4 blocks are pretty much equal as far as bolting on heads goes.
