Camshaft Position Sensor?

Alright i have a mild bit of work done on my car, and its throwing the Camshaft Position Sensor code. I have a Diablo Predator tuner on my car, and we cant figure out how to get the light to shut off. I replaced the sensor with a new one and the light goes a way for a bit then when i shut the car off and turn it right back on the light comes on. We can tune the car through the programmer and it goes away and again off/on its right back!?!?!?! Anyone had this happen before and figure out how to get the check engine light to stay off?

first check the wiring to make sure their is not an open in the harness.

yeah checked that first! i think it might be slack int eh timing chain!?!?!?!?!?!

Could be slack in the shaft. I had that problem with my car. Not sure how the sensors are set up on the 4.6 though.
