Milage on 2007 v6,Supercharging Next!

Bought a 2007 v6 for commuting and a place to park all the parts from my GT500 Supersnake conversion. Been keeping track of the milage and got 30 mpg on 1 tank doing 70 mph on cruise control! 2 other tankfuls got 28 mpg. Bought a cai and a SCT with 3 of VMP'S tunes. 87 octane milage,87 octane performance and 91 octane for a high output Vortech supercharger. Got a 8.8 rearend with 3.73 posi to handle the power . Justin at VMP has been extremely helpful answering all my questions. Will post the milage after I install the cai and milage tune. Will supercharge it,install the rearend and GT500 parts soon including Brakes,suspension,wheels,hood and anything else that bolts on from the 2007 GT500. Both are black. Will go for about 375 hp on the v6 as the V6 responds nicely to supercharging. Will defere to Justin at VMP tuning as he OWNS 2 supercharged V6's. Joined this forum because it has a slot for the v6's AND GT500. Very pleased with my V6.   GGBIW |

Welcome to the site man. Justin is very good with his tunes, I have three from him as well on my 02 V6.
Also, I average about the same mileage on mine.

Okay,installed VMP'S milage tune and cold air intake today. The pony runs NOTICEABLY smoother and feels stronger when I push it. I'm impressed. Justin also put a tune for a high performance Vortech Supercharger at 10 PSI at NO additional charge! YOUR THE MAN JUSTIN! Will post milage next week. Got 28 and best at 30 mpg with stock tune. 2000 miles on 2007 V6. GGBIW

And you shouldn't say things like densenchargers are good CAI kits...but we don't hold that against you....he wanted a 6...and got a 6. |
