Does anyone have money on a 2008 GT500KR or Know where I can put money on one at a resonable price? Found a couple dealers at 100K.   Too much as I can buy another GT500 and Supersnake it for less. GGBIW

A KR at under 100k is going to be tough to find....and then having the dealer stick to the offer when it arrives will be even harder to find...as several found out with the base GT500.

Just read on a different forum that a members father got one at MSRP! Hard to believe to say the least. Ive been hunting for a while. No luck. GGBIW

Any dealer that actually cares about return customers will only charge sticker... which sadly, are few and far between.

Has he taken delivery yet? Or just put a deposit down? Several GT500 wanna be owners put deposits down with signed MSRP agreements...they were later nullified and told they had to pay X amount over.

No he hasn't taken delivery as of yet. Makes me wonder how he could get it so cheap when a regular GT500 is getting over msrp. If I can't get one at a reasonable price I'll have to settle for my Supersnake at 725hp,1 of 1000. The KR production limit is still to be determined.That is straight from Carrol Shelbys mouth as he said he hasn't bought off on the production number yet. GGBIW

Now that I see who you are talking about (dgussin1's father), the odds of them getting one at MSRP are pretty good. They are close to a dealer from my understanding...he obtained his GT500 at MSRP at most...but I Think he even got x-plan on it...I can't remember fully.
None the less...he is probably one of the few that will get one at sticker.

X plan is when you buy a car for a percentage over cost because you have a pin number from an employer or something. It is like when GM employees buy a GM vehicle, they get to buy it for a couple percent over dealer cost. For has that and it is called A plan I believe. Then X plan is a couple percent more that that. I think it is like 5 percent over cost...can't remember exactly. You save a bunch though.

honestly, as for stickers from dealers, we have had a few gt500's come in since ive been here and they are put up for 20k over sticker. well we dont actually expect to get that but some ppl ive seen pay about 5 grand over the sticker price. its kinda sad.... i dont think they will ever be a fair price.

and the plans go like this
X= anyone who works for a company that works with ford (grumman/trw/verizon...ect)
A plan= any current employee of ford
Z plan which is retired employee from ford and then
D plan which is anyone who works for a Ford dealership.
A&Z are the same price
