I recently bought a set of aftermarket fog/driving lights to install, and when my husband took to covers off the bumper we noticed that the factory wiring harness is there but when we hooked up the lights to that wiring they wouldn't come on. Has anyone else noticed that their cars had the wiring? And is there something else needed to make that wiring work? We also popped out the coin tray to see if the wiring was there for the switch but it is not.
To my knowledge the only 94-04's with factory fog wiring would be pre 96 (or 97) cars. You probably dont have a fuse in the fuse panel for the fogs nore the factory on/off switch so you might have to do some wiring.

on a GM you have to install the fuse, factory switch, & reprogram the BCM to install a factory fob light add on

If it's a "94 or '95 you need to put a relay(same as the others in the fuse box) in and a fuse in the fog light socket. Then there should be a connector in the center console for the switch.
94-95 v6's we're prewired.
The foglights wont turn on just by turning on your headlights
You need a relay that gets placed in the engine bay fusepanel, and a factory switch.
you wont see the plugs just by removing the coin holders i actually removed the box inside the armrest it was just a couple of screws and its alot easier to work with everything. I think you'll probably see like 3 harness's tho and i forget which one. If i recall correctly there was different color plugs i think its grey. haha.
