New kitten for the gf

My girlfriend's birthday is coming up so I decided to get her a kitten. I knew she was looking for one earlier this summer so I figured it was an okay present. I gave it to her this past weekend and she loved it.
It's a he. He is 2.9lbs and we think he is about 8 weeks old. I wanted to name him either Mr. Bill or Dr. Frankenstein lol, but the gf hated both of those ideas. He is still unnamed even though she is looking into real Russian names or something.
We bought him from some woman who rescues cats from kill shelters. He was 30 bucks with a 10 dollar rebate once you submit proof of spaying/neutoring. He also needed another round of shots so total amount he was about $50 (neutoring will be about $30 or so in a few months).
I'm kinda sad that he lives with her though. I miss him lol. I did make up my mind though that I'm gonna adopt a cat once I get my own place and a real job. He is gonna be black and I'm gonna name him Darth Vader lol... or something equally random.
