Blew a head gasket...

Well we came down to myrtle beach last monday for mustang week.. and Ive had problems with my car since lat tuesday.. the LFP coolant tank blew out.. my father overnighted me my stocker to replace it.. car ended up after that overheating and blowing out a head gasket on the driver side..soo my week has kinda sucked lol Had to stay down here an extra week for the ford dealership to fix the head gasket, water pump, water pump sensor and gasket.. I just cant seem to catch a break!!!

well LFP stepped up and sent me another one. Polished and its an updated redesigned one. Didnt ask for a picture or anything. GREAT customer service with them. I wouldnt dare sue them for this. It wasnt their fault at all this happend.

getting the air out of the system is a pita on the 03/04 cobras... I had mine vacume filled and it worked fine.

cars under ext. warranty so it wont be too much. Ford picked up the cost on the water pump even thought it wasnt under warranty. Conway ford is paying for the gasket which was $50. Im thinking i might be out of pocket around $100.

It's looking like i'll be coming home at the end of the week though without the car.
Its gonna take them longer than expected...

Wow that sucks, My friend had his LFP tank give out also, just looks like bad welds to me, but who knows.
