Watching it a second time it looks like the guy just let off as he had a slow trap speed, and that makes it not as funny.

the driver mod will make or break a drag race.
from a roll, the driver mod is less of a necessity, but still a good thing to have.

Why Not ??? I think the driver is the most important of a drag race it takes skills, timing and balls to run the 1/8 or 1/4 .Anybody can have a fast car and do a roll race the biggest skill in a roll race is honking the horn Oh almost forgot the emergency flasher pull

while the driver might be an important performance mod...
...the passenger mod can be the best appearance mod and in some rare cases, the driver mod can also be a nice appearance mod.
and if the driver or passenger mod is NOT, tinted windows can be the next best thing.

+1, I couldn't agree more...I just didn't want to be the first one here to bring that up...
and Craig (aka Bullitt for those of you who don't know him personally), shut up before you even get started...(I know you are going to read this about 5 oclock tonight at work and think to yourself "WTF?!? Isn't this what I have been trying to say all along?")...but just let it go and lol at it because you will just be

Don't worry boss if it gets out of hand I'll just start deleting posts. And yes it proves that the faster car lost because the driver wasn't as good, and lost traction midway down the track and let off and costed across the line.

i dont think anyone is/was going to argue that the driver mod has a higher level of importance when racing from a dig as compared from a roll. i think we all know pretty much if you fumble the launch, youve already lost, unless were talking about a car that runs 12's fumbling the launch versus one that runs 16's, then its likely the faster car will have a chance to catch back up by the end of the 1/4.
