Nature in the Front Yard

I came home this afternoon and saw this big monarch butterfly with the flowers in the front of my house. I got out the camera and took some shots. While taking some shots there were a bunch of other little butterflies. I took some shots of them too, and also of some flowers we have. Suddenly, I heard a butterfly flapping it's wings like crazy. I figured it was caught in a spiderweb and I was going to help it get out granted there was no spider already at him.

Unfortunate for it, a praying mantis got it. Fortunate for me, my camera was ready :P So that's my nature shots for today I guess. I can't wait till I get some better lenses for the camera. The kit lens is alright, but the others are supposed to be way better.

thanks! As soon as I pay off my credit card bill for everything I'm going to buy some lenses. I'm almost done, just about another 400 bucks and it'll be paid off.
