i need tire info

i have a 94 gt with 17 inch rims, i usually use 245/45/17. i was wondering if 205/50/17 would work? any info would be helpful thanks!

I'm guessing you have 8" wide wheels? If so, no. That's way too narrow. What's wrong with the 245/45/17s?

dont go below the stock size, even the stock size can have curb rash due to there is not enough sidewall to protect the tire.

No, he's talking about a little brick wall that runs around the outside of the rubber to protect the tired from getting scuffed up...which in turn adds some extra protection for the lip of the rims.
