eh i say no. if someone has the ability to pay for a bone stock un-abused pristine showroom floor condition 04 cobra, it will sell. if i could afford the 650$+ monthly payment i would buy it for ~35k but no more. hell the dealerships still rape for 30k for a 40k mi cobra in eh condition (its like nobody around here takes care of their cobras, which is why i want mine preferrably).

That is pretty much what mine is, and I spent 30. I would say it wont sell for 42, but there are people out there willing too, knowing its 100% stock, or just some random collector, they may pay for it. Ive been seeing a lot of Cobras from 29-34

wont sell for that much... I dont see it selling for more than 30-32k which is amazing considering the 36k new price tag (and remember they couldnt get them off the lot due to the time line when they were trying to sell them sot hey were cutting them down with discounts quite hard)

It's got 15 Offers on it, I have to admit I love the Sonic Blue color, but not for that much.

true, but now everyone knows that a termie can do, as opposed to when they first came out everyone saw a 4.6l with a supercharger and was like "yeah, thats going to last....." theyre a great alternate to spending 70k+ on a GT500.

No thanks. Way too much money. If you are patient you can find just a good a deal elsewhere.

its not always about the miles... if that car has been neglected and not kept clean (not just in a garage) then it may not be in as good of a shape as you would think

So the car is almost 5 years old, and has only moved 1000 miles...yeah...I would want to swap out all the fluids after all that time...hell, the gas itself is probably stale as hell depending on when he last drove it...not to mention the oil just sitting in the oil pan...and all the joints that might have just locked up from non-use.
Needless to say...he is insane at that price.

yea... keeping a car perfect is a very hard thing to do, you simply can not park it and expect to go back out in 10 years and jump in and drive off in it just like new.
