painted calipers??

hey im thinking that painting my calipers red to match my car would be a decent little mod... what do yall think?... im kinda new-ish to doing work myself so would it be better to take it to get done?

if you have the tools to remove the calipers than go for it. they make paint just for brake calipers. you need to use that. or you could just take the wheel off and tape everything off really good. just make sure you clean the calipers really good with brake parts cleaner

They look good, just make sure when you have to replace your brakes you take it somewhere that will take care when doing it...otherwise they will end up chipped up like Kyle's are. The place he's been taking the car for brake work just flopped the calipers here and there and there are a ton of chips now.

I been contemplating this, but just havent the time or the abition I guess with it being really hot lately, maybe when it finally comes out of the triple digits I will do it.

hell just go to any PepBoys and they have it there "Calliper Paint" and some clear coat and be done with it!

dang... wish i woulda thought about it, my girlfriends dad gave me a little giftcard to pepboys a while back n it was burning a hole in my pocket so i used it on windshield wipers that i reallyyy didnt need at the time
