1995 gts problems

i have a 95 gts and just did a automatic to 5 speed swap and now the car breaks up and losses power at about 4000 rpms. i was woundering if anyone might know what the problem is?

Did you have the computer reprogrammed? It might be attempting to still shift, causing the computer to cut power for it to shift.

It might also be easier to just get a new computer that is from a 5 speed. But, you have to have the pats disabled to do this.

Yeah, what computer is in there? Are you on an aftermarket ignition? Give us a little more info.
