AT: MySpace.com - www.myspace.com/116744637 MANY NEW and better quality pix coming!
So, I'm thinking of trading my 98 for your truck or $10,000.00... It's technically a GT with Cobra emblems and a bit over 305 HP... the cobra was 305. I have done MAJOR mods... I do really need a truck as I'm moving home to Minnesota, it must be newer and a chevy or dodge... I know on a Ford website... It also must be extended cab, with a lift kit preferred.... and 4x4.
I have added a Cobra R Front bumper and Cobra R rear spoiler... and a Black Widow rear bumper that's molded to the body... Then the car was sanded down... little rock dings fixed.... and then properly prepped... primed.... painted... airbrushed... clear coated... 2003 Cobra rims and BFG z rated tires with 80% tread... Dual newer magnaflows... with 5 inch chrome tips, LOUD... 3.73 gears, short throw shift.... cold air intake.... full wet NX nitrous kit installed with a custom airbrushed bottle maybe I'll throw in DUAL bottles... hasn't ever been used though. Engine and tranny are at 70,000 miles... the body has 170,000 but was just redone... Projector headlights, with blackout covers in both the front and the rear. Lamborghini scissor doors that lift out and up... held by 500 lb shocks.... Cobra Emblems all around. 305+ HP. Professionally lowered. Mach 460 stereo setup. Black Leather interior. Power driver seat. Power windows and locks with remote and alarm. New plugs and THICK racing wires. The rear pinion seal was just replaced as it had a small leak. Brand new waterpump. FAST AND SWEET RIDE, SUPER HEAD TURNER... I may have forgot some things...

Gosh talk about flame overkill....not digging the fake badging, rear huge spoiler, or lambo doors...but good luck on the sale.
Looks like a lot of time put into that car.

They didn't make a 1998 Cobra R, and the parts you used are 2000 Cobra R style, so I don't know what you are "cloning." Believe it or not, I like the paint, though,

Yes it is 2000 Cobra R style correct. I like the so called "overkill"... Yeah, I'd like to get a truck if possible. If not I have put WAY to much time and money into this car so I really don't mind if it dosn't sell, or if I don't find a truck to trade for. I will hit you back on yahoo meteorachick... been awhile

You may not dig the fake badging, but since it does have the same hp as a stock Cobra (and extra with the nitrous).... Makes it a more fair to whomever is pulling up next to you wanting to race... if they think it's a GT, everyone will try to race lol.... It keeps the competition to those with balls... The spoiler is a factory 2000 R spoiler, not a fake ebay P.O.S.

I actually like the car a lot...my only question is why you chose 03 cobra wheels rather than Cobra R's?
and I would just keep the car and find a small cheap beater truck to play around with and/or haul stuff with during the winter time...

am I missing some of the mods to go from 215/286 to 305/300? (before nitrous)
Dual newer magnaflows
Cold Air intake
New plugs and THICK racing wires
Cobra Emblems all around. 305+ HP
Thats probably about 200rwhp/280rwtq? Perhaps it has the PI heads so that would be about 250-260rwhp~

I was wondering what other mods were done to achieve 305+ without the nitrous? I'm not causing trouble, but I think it is something that a buyer should know...

Well from what he has posted, Nitrous has never been used so it shouldn't be part of the horsepower scenario here...

Correct. I'm guessing here.... I baught the engine from a guy in Michagan that worked at a race and performance shop, so I'm assuming maybe heads cams.... but I don't know to be honest, I am going by what I was told and the fact that it stomps the $hlt out of the stock 300hp GT Mustangs. And you are correct, nitrous has NOT been used yet.

with all the mods you have on there, I know its kinda late in the game since your looking at getting rid of it now...but have you ever considered on putting it on a mustang dyno? Just to know what the real numbers its pushing or capable of pushing?

I would get a dyno so you dont let down a buyer and have to go through false advertisement issues or heck maybe you have more... either way its a good idea and wont cost but 60 bucks.
