You get to know your cars birthday. Today my car is 5.
And here it is sitting with a flat tire.

Have a good one double C.
Tuesday we're going to see if we can fix your tire with a patch and then in a week or so we're taking you to get the coilovers, IRS bushings, IRS brace, etc, etc, put on and then in a couple of month hopefully we'll be purchasing the tires for the new shoes.

I did not know about it. Today I went and ordered some Nitto 315/35/17 DR's. I wanted to get the M/T 275/40/17 street E/T's as you easily feel how much sticky and softer they were with your hand, but I don't think that their as good a street tire even though I'm sure their a much better drag tire and they were about the same price. I think the Nitto are probably a good compromise between have decent wear, handling and handling rain, but the M/T were defenitily stickier. I also scheduled an apointment to get my suspension mod doo. I take the car on friday.

my 555R's are wearing at an increased pace. i might have a few months on them, theyll make it into the rainy season but thats about it. likely be retired to become track use rim/tires, ill get a second set of black cobras for the rear and mount some KDW2's on them, then when summer comes next year, just get new 555r's for the warm weather. unless these hold out longer and arent as bad in the rain as everyone makes them out to be.

Yeah if I knew I was going to be able to buy my new tires for my 18's in the next mounth or so I would have opted for the new M/T Street ET's. Their sexy tires.
SCMC Message Forum - MT's new 315 DR's
This guy actually lives in my hometown.(well I live right outside of Columbia) I felt those same kind of tires today and they are sticky! I would be scared to run them with my stock rearend... Well stock for the next few days anyway. Actually if I was going to run them I would probably want to opt for a straight axle or atleast some Level 5's.
BTW are you running a 10.5" wide rear wheel or just a 9"?
