? about a mustang

There is this 2006 ford mustang GT i am looking at buying, but its no mustang i have ever seen, from the dealership, it has 20in rims and tires, white w/blue racing stripes, custom exhust, side luvers on the car and on the rear window, and 004 painted on the front bumper.
i was wondering if any one had any idea, what this cars is all about.

Were the strips on the side of the car? If it looked like this then its a Saleen Mustang.

well since it had custom exhaust and the rear/side window louvers, id say the stripes were an add from the owner. im pretty sure someone wouldnt want to remove the saleen graphic from the windshield so he prolly missed that, even tho idk how somoeone could. lol

its a saleen, roush, or someone did it custom on their own (perhaps even the dealer but dont fall for that bs they give you... its only a dealer custom made thing not endorsed by ford if its not one of those)
Most saleens are overpriced base model GT's with a body kit and rims so dont pay for something that you can do own your own as well.
