2500.00 for paint and finish of bodywork. Dupont paint, stage 2 paint job, and the door jams. Better then what I have gotten so far and they do some good work too. Just goint to go all yellow all around nothing too fancy. Will be good to get her painted just have to wait for the tax return.

You sure they're gonna do it right? If so, that's a great deal, about the low end of what I'd expect for a color change.

just a warning from someone who just did this a year ago. you get what you pay for. i had so many issues with my 2500$ paint job, it drove me to the point to where i absolutely hated the entire car because of how depressed i felt spending that amount on something two guys with rattlecans could have achieved. prep was horrible, they sucked at spraying, and post-prep was non-existent.

What would one expect to pay for then? My original plan was going to cost a ton more. Since she is my daily I want something clean but not going to put me back in the bank so I cant do anything else.

getting a good paint job is a very hard thing.. you have to look at their work and find people that have had body work done and inspect it as well as get their opinions and such
you do get what you pay for but sometimes you pay for something and dont get it as well...
just do your homework! and get warranty information in writing not just vocal BS (yea we will fix it... then they deny you) and such. Before you drive off the lot with it you go over EVERY inch of that car and make SURE its 100% what you want... a paint job is a pita if it goes wrong and can ruin the car for someone.
