That day, somewhere, some pieces of human debris were celebrating about how it turned out even better than they had hoped.
Today, some pieces of human debris that we have elected think we should give up and let it happen again.

unless it happens again (i hope to hell never, but the way things are going it wouldnt suprise me), its easily the worst day of any of our lives, or at least those of us who are true americans.
i never want to feel the way i did when i saw the towers fall. i can honestly remember that exact moment, it makes me feel sick inside, sheer horror, anger and amazement at the same time.

9/11 is the most important, history shaping event of our generation. I don't think their were to many people who weren't deeply affected by it. Even though now it seem like people have forgotten what happen to our country on September 11, 2001.

Its amazing how the days after 9/11 you saw the American flag everywhere. Outside of houses, on cars etc etc.. And now I don't see anymore of that at all. No one ever thinks of the freedom costing lives everyday while we live ours day after day. No one seems to remember the agony of so many familys that have lost loved ones over seas and in 9/11. I'll be lucky to see about 2 cars every month that have anything about 9/11 on them. It just seems like everyone lives their life and don't care about the cost of freedom because its not affecting their lives.

I've never felt our country feel so together until the following day of 9/11.
Now it feels like nobody remembers about all those people who died except for our soldiers who willingly went over seas to take care of business.
I'm waiting for a "The Day Time Stood Still" shit to happen. UFO coming down and telling us to end our shit or they'll blow up the planet.
