2003 Mustang GT Problem with interior light

Ok today when I pressed the button for keyless entry my interior light came on like always but then I closed my door and wouldn't go off. I thought maybe it wasn't closed hard enough so I closed it again and it still didn't go off. Do I have a sensor problem? A blown fuse? and Ideas would be helpful.

My 01 did the exact same thing, it turned out to be a sticky door switch. In our cars the switch is located on the latch itself inside the door. The switch was $25 from Ford and took about 1 hr to replace.
