Maybe it's just me, but these guys that own GT's and throw on cobra bumpers and emblems and pass them off as cobras piss me off. I can see modding the car with the hood extractor to make it look better. I know a guy who has a 02 GT and put the cobra bumper and cobra emblems on the side and in the grill. He always calls it his cobra, but we always remind him it is a GT. Shouldn't the guys be happy with their GT, if they want a cobra, buy a damn cobra.

Putting fake badges on a car is gay. I normally don't call shit gay unless it literally has something to do with homosexuality, but that is gay. GT Mustangs are nothing to be ashamed of and look just fine as they are. I would spend that money on improving the cars performance and not try and disguise it to look like something its not. If you just want the body kit because you think it looks better I think thats okay. Foxbodies with the Cobra kits look pretty damn good. Just don't try and pawn it off to be a real Cobra if its not.

making it look better is fine, but putting badges or anything that says cobra or what ever on a car that is not that car.... is bad end of story.

there is a dude in my apt complex that has a silver gt with cobra badges on it.......the guy thinks he so fuckin hardcore.......revvin up to 5k rpms and only engaging the clutch half way so he backs up at about 2mph pinging off redline

Yea i agree with you all, i also hate it when 6ers try to make them look like 8's. If ya wanted a V8 buy one! I hate a V6 and im definately not assamed of it

Hey now, i have a V6, but i'm going to buy a cobra within a couple of months. (i will still keep the sixer). I'm glad i'm not the only one gets pissed off. Like jroc and spector said, body mods are okay, but not badges. I haven't changed my V6 and "made" it a cobra, even after people have thought it was a GT or a cobra. Iwannagofast, where you at in wisconsin?

i dont mind using body pieces from other cars (IE Roush, Saleen, Cobra) to enhance your cars appearance. but going as far as emblems or actually telling people its something its not, is wrong.

I think the only part my car doesn't have on it is any Saleen pieces...you won't find anything other than a 3.8 badge on it though.

OMG IT IS SO GOOD TO FIND SOME GUYS THAT ARE ON MY LEVEL..WHICH KEEP'EN IT REAL...I was on mustang forums .com..and there are so many fu_ken posers on there its fu_ken ridiculas...everybody in that mutha fu_ker drives a v6 mustang and there are loud and proud about it... and they seem to have to let everybody know there proud v6 owners..NOBODY GIVES A SH_T..

Whats even worse than GT's trying to be Cobras. Is 6cyl stangs trying to be cobras. There is one going around my neighborhood, cobra bumpers, hood, and emblems. Single tail pipe, 6er wheels, and slower than hell. He always tries to race people around. Its quite annoying.

Besides, there's no reason to go around it. Fuck fuck fuck, fuckity fuck cunt fuck fuck. That's why I love this site.
Also, there are some proud V6 owners here too. I've seen some extr_mely nice V6's and some extr_mely shitty GTs and Cobras. Anyone can go out and buy a Mustang with a V8. That's nothing to be proud of. But k_eping a Mustang looking nice and clean, no matter what's under the hood, is. |
