hiya! i've had this link forever and finally registered tonight. hehehe i'm such a procrastinator.
raised around mustangs. this is my second one. dad is a mustang fanatic. he has had more than 30 (i have pix of many of them!). my first mustang was a blue 86. gawd i hated that car!! lol i swore i'd never own another one.
but my hubby talked me into buying this coupe. she grew on me. then i had my way with her. first came a supercharger, then came a turbo, then came a carb conversion, then came a blown ring...
she's under the knife right now. started an engine build and turbo kit fabrication project. almost done with it now. maybe another week or two.
anyways....

yeah, i know about the peculiar history thing. but you have to understand, that 86 was, mechanically anyway, the worst car i've ever owned!
i commuted 180 miles to work in orlando (from tampa) and i would stay in orlando for the week and come home to tampa on the weekends. the car would leave me stranded all the time somewhere along those 180 miles (usually in the middle of nowhere). i replaced everything and it would still just die while driving. after four months of owning it, i just gave it away.
so my very first mustang didn't represent very well and i just swore them off. hehehe but i am glad my hubby convinced me otherwise cuz i love my baby girl. hehehe |
