Might I suggest a 4V Mach 1 (03/04) or Cobra (99-01) rather than an a 2V 03/04 GT? you would be able to get a lot more out of that 4V motor, although I don't know what your intentions are with the car...but just a suggestion...I am a 3V guy myself...

true, I won't disagree with you there...BUT you have very little room for error when building a 2V or it will go BOOM...as you said "if you build them right"...
