Bought some new race wheels/tires and adj. shocks/struts for the 05 for autox...My intentions are to run Nationals next year in Topeka, KS and hopefully win the F-stock class...
Tires are Kumho Ecsta V710 275/40/17 on Enkei Racing 17x8" +45mm RPF1 wheels...
Kumho Ecsta V710
Enkei Racing Series RPF1 Bright Silver Paint
The adj. shocks/struts are Koni Sport Yellows...

The should be in sometime next week probably...then i have to get the shock/struts put on and will take some pictures from next autox event the end of October...

Damn right! I bet you'll notice improvement in handling. You should consider a Tunableinduction for your next mod.

It's definitely fun. Even if you have a stock car, just get out there, learn your car, and practice.
With a V6 you have a weight advantage over many other cars and you can play this in your favor with the right driving.

Autocross is fun because in most cases, it's far more about driver skills and knowing your car than about how much power your car is making...
The two biggest keys to being successful in autocross are driver and tires...BY FAR...so, learn to drive the car, get some good R-comp tires, then learn to drive the car again...I am just learning the R-comp part, should be interesting as the car is going to handle much differently than on street tires...
BTW brad, are you running the event the end of the month in Grenada? I believe it's like October 27th and 28th or so...its a two day event...

I'm attempting to...not gonna have my new wheels so I'll just run on the big ol heavy 18's. I do plan on being there though, haven't ran in a while.
