I got a quote from Delk today for a Tune and Dyno time for my Mustang. What are your opinions on Delk for those that have had this done before? I know I have read Dark Shadows experiences along with slvr2000stang. Who else has worked with them before? How did the tune go and were you happy with the results?

Have you looked into dynospeed any? They're located in Memphis and I have never heard a negative thing about them.

Nashville is a lot closer than Memphis I was leaning toward Delk too because they have a lot of experience tuning high performance V6's

Delk is about another hour east of Nashville.
As for going there, I'm sure you know what I would say, but if you do go, get a price quote IN WRITING before they begin, and something about them letting you know before they rack up more and more expenses.

TN might have a law that they must inform you of changes and you must ok them before they can be done~
I would check out dynospeed in memphis.... wtf is the problem with a BIT more of a drive if its worth it... I would drive twice as far for a better quality job~

B/c I have had several friends get dynos at dynospeed without one single issue.
One thing I will warn you about any reputable dyno facility is they should refuse to dyno your car with inferior parts. Dynospeed will inform you of anything that should be updated before doing any work, but will not dyno the car if they feel you have a few parts that will prevent you from receiving the best possible tune.

well not trying to bash any shop at all.
you will see CRAP come from anyone. i have seen it come from what most consider the Top Notch shops in the nation. and i would not feel safe driveing down the street in it.
also Delk normally keeps in touch with its costomers on the work needed and the estimated cost.
you bring in Junk. its gonna take some money to make it decent.
and Delk does tell the customer if we do not feel safe in dynoing the pos they have brought to them. lol. but if the customer insists on makeing a pull since they have signed a Release form and still want to make a pull. it can and will be done.

I wasn't trying to bash Delk...sorry if it came across that way. Just go where you feel you'll get the best job done.

I say go to L&S here in baton rouge.... If you are interested in getting another new motor
You could always swing down here for shits...I'm sure Cody wouldn't mind tuning your car...or you could go to Mobile and see what RWTD has to say....

That's very true as well, part of having a business is someone somewhere will always have something negative to say about you. It's not very easy to please everyone all the time..
