So quite some time ago when I was desparate for another job, I put in my info and resume to monster.com. Now, I get 4-8 freaking emails a day and have ever since for about 8 months now. It pisses me off and I decided today was a good day to rant about it.

I did however find my job off monster...so I can't argue too much.

so, youre saying their site works and it makes you angry?

ive been looking for an estimating position in the Las Vegas area since i got back, however most are all staffing agency inquiries.

I don't get any from them... I get real similiar emails from a whole pile of other job finding websites, though.

They are all bone head advice crap on your resumes and just general useless announcements. It's stuff that you should know already, and if you don't you probably need to be applying at fast food places instead. Plus, all I EVER got from there was responses from the SAME insurance company over and over. My profile didn't even have anything to do with insurance companies or desk jobs. The point is the emails aren't even job offers, it boils down to advertising for monster.com

Yea I only get stupid accounting job openings from monster... wtf I do NOTHING accounting releated.
