SOmeone tn told me that my car would run no faster then 14.5 in the quarter with a good driver... is this true?... i was kinda upset when he told me because i thought it was faster then that.

You should be able to hit mid 13's with the right tires and an excellent driver. I don't see high 13's out of the question at all...

stock out of the box they manage on average 14.2-14.3 with a good driven manual transmission~ autos are of course slower.

With your mods I would say you should be capable of breaking into the 13s ... but it all depends on the conditions and alt. that you are at... the higher up the slower.
