i'm pretty sure everyone on here already knows my obsession with roush mustangs. well finally i'm getting some work done, appearance and performance wise. anyway, i really want the 440a look, cept it has the side stripes that say "440a" (which stands for 400 hp + 40th anniversary, just in case you didn't know ;-) )
anyway, i was thinking of doing the same thing but making it say "40A" for 40th anniversary. any thoughts on this?
also, which of the following two looks better? with stripes or without?

Since roush is the only option here...no stripes. If you do stripes, leave the 440 of because that is definitely posing.

mine would say "40a" not "440a", just as an idea, i don't want it to say roush anywhere on the car or have false badges, but it is a 40th anniversary thats why i thought that.

i just think that on the 99-04 mustangs you don't see them with stripes and I like the accent.. your already being different by putting on body kit parts and what not, so why not make it even more distinct... its your car, go with what you want to look at.

I love stripes period....especially on an obscenely bright colored car...it breaks up the color and makes it a little softer on the eyes...
I would go with a different stripe on the side though that the 440 logo...I would go with Roush or Mustang writing or something similar to that...

Some people are strip people and some are not~ I personally would go no stripes pretty much just like that second pic. I would change the hood (go with an 03 cobra hood from cervinis to match up with the front bumper right) but you would need to think about the spoiler then as it would be to much weight on the back visually without the raised hood~. I would go with the roush side exhasut as well. Those rims in the second pic are very nice but you need to upgrade the brakes at the same time ( a set of black brembos would look very nice with that setup)
If you go stripes I would ONLY do the ones across the top and leave the sides off.
