I'm seriously debating taking the stripe off my Mustang. I think if I took it off, it'd look alot cleaner. Any thoughts?

i think the crowd for this is very 50/50, it really depends on the person and car.
i can tell you on here that you will get a 50/50 response from people---photoshop it and see what you think

Yeah, I've done that... I'm liking how it looks with out. The fender badges still make it look sweet tho...

In general, as can be seen below, i like the striped look...if it's done right and the colors match...IMO i think yours would look better without the stripe though because I don't care for the white stripe on the gun-metal colored car with the silver wheels...if the striping was silver to match the wheels and the pony, it would look good, but i think the white looks too busy right next to the silver wheels, so i say remove the white stripe and either get a matching silver stripe or do no stripe at all...

I've had the car about a year now, so removed the stripe, the buffed the areas where the stripe was, so it blended, and the residue was gone... i'm happy i did it!!

No.. I work at the dealership I bought it from, it peeled off fairly easily, but the paint underneath was in little better shape than the paint outside.. just from weather etc.. but after they buffed it... you couldn't tell

Now get that dealer sticker off the back and change your front and rear bumpers....GT/CS; Shelby GT FTW
And does anyone else think the pony's on the S197's are a little too big?
