To start the thread, i will say i got a $50 parking ticket for parking right there (mine's the blue one)...wtf....(but i eventually got it reduced to $10)
Got these off of ebay brand new...front and rear shipped for $110. stupendous.
My parking spot
There's both daddys
mmm hmmm
and i just got this new freakin sweet helmet
actually that's my old one. raise your hand if you were thinking i was a dumbass. i am dissapointed in all of you.
the new came used from ebay, but in nice condition...an RF1000 with a sweet design for 170 was good enough for me.
mmm
with the atl
and a photoshop
Due to the 550 dollar/year parking fee, my car isn't down here...so...

05 YZ250. FTW most of the time , but FTL right now. That bastard has my leg hurting pretty bad. This just goes to show you why they make protective safety boots, I wasn't wearing mine at the time. I might need to go get X-rayed to see if I fractured a bone or something, but I think its just really sore.
These are some old pictures taken not long after I got it new in 12/04 after Christmas.
I just thought of something, I bought both my Cobra and YZ250 right after Christmas.

nice JROC. dirt bikes are sweet. i'd like to get one...but not until my bank account recovers from this bike.
dang tim, going from a katana to a liter bike will be quite the transition. I know 4 guys who've ridden for many years and all of them were on liters within the past 2 years and all of them are now on 600's. Two 2007 R6's, a '07 gixxer, and an '02 gixxer. One of the guys had his R1 for four days before he annihilated it at a track day . Not to say liters are bad or something, just that i thought it was interesting that they all went back to the 600's, but best of luck to you. The guy who had the R1 got more insurance money than he paid for the bike from a dealer. A ~80hp katana to a ~180hp high-reving zx10r...wow. What happened to the zx6r that you couldn't get good enough financing for, and now going for the 10????

yeah after reading some reviews and talking to some friends who've been in the game for a while they said the kawi's needed revalving quite often. prolly gonna look at a GSXR750. about the financing, i'm looking at used bikes vs. a brand new one because they are cheaper for one

lol i had a buddy do that. he was sideswiped by a minivan and totalled his 01 R6 (he dramatized it, rode onto the sidewalk, steered it into a phone pole and jumped off, he didnt want the bike anymore), the insurance gave him 6,500$ (he owned it outright and paid ~3200 for it) and he saved up for another month and bought a 06 R1. he then found the R1 was a little too much bike for him (scrawny short lil mexican, bout a buck 20 on the scales, looked like a chimp trying to mount a gorilla when he rode), sold that, and picked up a brand new R6 and loves it.

Problem on 07 ZX6R. - Page 3 - Ninja6Zone
there's a nice thread about it and what people are hearing from kawi.
sucks that they now have such a tainted 07 model...i'd expect it to be fixed with the 08's...but who knows.
i think the new R6's are hotness. I also love the 05-06 636. gsxr's are nice too, heck, i guess they're all nice, haha. good luck.

sweet. is that efi? i think it is. Probably a good choice on newness as well...unless you have lots of $$$...i'd much rather be close to owning/own a bike rather than make payments etc..
