The site will have it's own addy in the coming days,
www.venomkit.com
James has siad he would take time out the next while to answer any questions about the kit after work.
This is also posted in our own forum so if you have any questions we can tackle them anywhere you post'em.

I agree with the "no specs" concept but output.
HP is not a spec but a result, which can vary greatly,
but the RWHP figures are pretty good selling points,
(you should not have to worry) I made an SC pkg.
that was installed and run NA w/o inj's or CAI/MAF
and it pretty handily beat another shop's NA setup
which was setup for NA. IMO 200 RWHP is a walk in
the park so I would expect more than that. Looks like
a well-conceived package, the cam selection looks
kinda familiar, you must have found the same regrinder

The site has the HP results as 60-70 HP gain.
The specs aren't listed but the HP is.

Great story, good writing!

Those gains are calculated using a stock block and a fairly stock setup. The cars we tested with all had dual exhaust and so can’t in my mind be completely stock. But that was it.
The site is misleading to the point that all my hard work isn’t completely shown.
I had the kit performing well in excess of 220+ rwhp at one point.
But the powers that be made a conscious choice to keep the package available to all those who are looking for daily driver reliability. The kit delivers 100% in that respect.
I can tell you that special orders for people who do want the power plant to deliver those kinds of numbers will be made available, but the motor will not be considered daily drivable.
I am sure we have some computer geeks here who can relate to this analogy.
The Venom Kit is a lot like the chip inside your home computer. It is sold at a certain processor speed, but you can easily bump that up to several times faster.
You then get gobs of power yet sacrifice reliability.

well I only asked because I was wondering what your plans were for splitport?
145 + 70 = 215, which is nice..
but what kinda gains do you expect to see when starting with 190?

Keep in mind this answer is made with 10 months of testing on single ports and about 3 on the split ports.
The split port heads are sweet! Sweeter than sweet. The intake is what drives me crazy.
From what I can gather, the 99+ makes the perfect V6 all N/A car. Hands down. The intake is what keeps it from being any better.
While we are not working on a custom upper yet for the 99+, I think that would be the only way I would even consider releasing a Venom Kit for it. We have quite a ways to go still on the heads but I like everything I see.
A quick answer is I don’t have a clue. The intake is where the difference will be made in my mind and since plans aren’t even there yet, I can’t really answer it.
But for the benefit of others reading this, I feel like the 94-98 single ports have a severe advantage over the 99+ when it comes to a supercharged application.
Again, this is just from a very small amount of time spent with the split port setup.
So take it with a grain of salt.

*scratches head* hmm, where have I seen those cam specs before?
Very secretive on all your specs. I guess ends justify the means right?
I didn't see on the site, but do you use a stock TB, or halfshafted or BBK
or what? Just curious.

The TB is stock, as is the rest of the car with again exception of the duals.
As per cam specs, we even mention that on the site about the specs because they are very familiar. That is the one item which has really made this whole thing rather challenging is that the kit stuck us with 2 problems if they can be called problems.
1)The cams are very limited. This needs to change and change badly or the V6 will never realize its true potential. But while we are working on theoretical cams, until we actually get one and can place it in the car, that is all it is….theory.
2)The 2nd issue is the intake. I have looked at the competitions products pertaining to this and Supersix has a very good looking intake. But of course that is only viewing it from the outside.
But Steve showed me an intake by RGR and while it is nothing flashy to look at (compared to the SS intake), it does seem to tackle the limitations of the stock intake. And given the fact that our primary focus has been N/A performance, I would really like to see RGR’s intake on our car. I think that is a very practical application and I don’t know why I never even saw it until just the other day. He really should get the word out on that more, because it looks very impressive. From what I can tell with just a picture, it would prove to be the better of the 2 between himself and Super Six.
Maybe someone with more knowledge on that intake can tell me if I am right or wrong.

Glad to see you verify that a 215 cam can make 220+ RWHP.
That was the first cam that I specced, and while your LCA & IC
might be different, it's the same basic cam.
As for saying the cams for V6 are limited, I don't know what you
mean. I've had great results from what I've had to select from,
I generate all my own cam specs and I've had fun doing it!
