it's quiet and fast as hell. when i get the watercooling stuff, i'll overclock it a tad
next upgrade after WC will be an 8800gtx... or maybe before... i don't want to put the WC in and then have to take it back out to swap the GPUs in the loop

He still does.
Nice PC. I guess you don't go to many LAN partys with a large case like that

i take it you dont have to sleep next to your PC.........
looks very nice, if i had a seperate room for the PC it would have a clear case and every fan would have lights, and every PC-Ricer part imaginable. however since i dont, im now in the process of replacing all my neons, flashy lights, led fans, with plain jane silent running stuff.

^haha, yea..one of my friends has some huge fans on his custom setup (which is really nice) and even with the fan controller they soooo loud. Every time we're in his computer room we act like we can't hear anything he says b/c his comp is so loud.

That looks badass!
Did you build that? I kind of want to build me a new computer. How much did that stuff cost and how long does it take to assemble if you've never built a computer before?

the whole setup cost me around $1800. i saved for quite a while and worked tons of overtime to afford it. and the WC setup will run about $400 more, so i have more OT ahead of me
i did put the case together myself, along with the rest of the pc. it only took a couple hours to do the case, then a couple more to get all the hardware into the case
and actually, the case is about 4 feet from my bed

That acrylic case looks like a higher quality piece than the one I've got. Danger Den makes good stuff. Almost all my watercooling gear is Danger Den. I'm getting ready to retire my clear case. Probably gonna go with another Lian Li...
Here's my clear one, back in it's heyday:

Now, the clear case is but a mere shadow of its former self...
