hopefully we can upset them next weekend. we have an okay team this year... but the power of a home game can be determining factor.

I know that...just had to correct JROC on hinting LSU wouldn't be in the championship game this year.
If last year is any indication on how well Ohio can handle an SEC team, then yeah, it will be a blood bath...even with LSU's current inability to stop anyone from driving.

eh, i wouldnt be too concerned...Michigan is going to continue to run the table the rest of the season and beat Ohio State in a couple of weeks to win the Big 10...which will land them a spot in the Rose Bowl...I wouldn't be surprised to see a rematch of Michigan and Oregon in the Rose Bowl...
and as for the NC game, I venture to say that the SEC has no chance to make it to the title game because LSU will NOT be able to beat Florida twice...which because of Vandy beating USC, Florida will probably go to the SEC championship game as of right now....so in all honesty, i think we will probably end up seeing West Virginia and Oklahoma in the NC game...Oklahoma has a pretty easy road the rest of the season, and West Virginia's is pretty easy the rest of the way too, except for the game against Rutgers...

Oklahoma is a joke, as is Ohio State. I hope my boys in blue pull it off against them this year. This just goes to show that the SEC is the toughest conference in the nation, without a doubt.

whether or not oklahoma or Ohio State are jokes is going to be a moot point come seasons end...whether or not the SEC is the touhghest and most talented conference in football is going to be a moot point...the way things are shaping up right now, its going to be highly unlikely that the "two best" teams in college football will play for the national title this year...but that, unfortunately comes subject to the BCS system that 1-A college football uses...you don't always get the to most talented teams on the field...whether or not oklahoma deserves a shot at the title is going to be a moot point; they way their schedule shapes up, they pretty much are a shoe-in for the national title because they have a remaining schedule that should allow them to win-out...the biggest problem with the BCS system by far is that fact that it doesnt take into account who you lose to as much as it does WHEN you lose...a loss in november is far more devastating to your chances than a lose in september, regardless of who the lose it to...

Preaching to the choir here, I know all that and I hate the BCS for it. Regardless, they still are a joke when it comes to their schedule.
