Service Engine Soon Light

I recently installed an options racing cold air intake w/ K&N air filter, and forgot to hook one the the small sensors back up. I realized it after about a 5 min test drive... Right after test drive the ses light came on so I hooked back up that sensor thinking it would go away and now the light is still on... Can someone please advise to if I should reset it and if thats safe and im not just overlooking problem?

Unhook the battery for about 10 minutes and hook it back up, if the code comes back have it checked.
