The car has a long enough name, but whatever I guess. It is an amazing car. If a 427 ci LS motor isn't enough for a 3,200- lb vehicle then try a 454 ci LS motor.

Wonder if there is something different with the LS7 block versus your run of the mill LS1/LS2 that allows it to be bored and stroked to a 454??? I mean maybe it's just not very common and I've missed it somehow.
They can make a 454ci LS2. They've just got to resleeve the block and go with a longer stroke crank. In fact, taken from their page...
WC -C5R Powered By "Extreme Velocity" LS2 454
AAAAHHH Gotcha... I keep forgetting that the LS1/2/7 block is a glorified Teksid that was done right, pushrod and higher displacement ... Aluminum block with steel sleeves.
I know you probably know this, but that was probably an open track day, so that means that they have to yield to a passing car, which is why they stick their hand out the window to let the passing car know that the slow car sees what they are doing and moving out of the way.... Of course, the novelty of the whole thing is still fucking priceless.
didnt one vette look like he gave thumbs up as he flew by?
open track days kind scare me like that. i mean, if youre in a 250hp WRX and you are running your line all focused, you glance in the rearview and its clear, then then a second later some huge HP Vette is in your blind spot and you take a turn wide not knowing he is there and bam. i usually only focus on whats ahead of me while driving, rarely whats behind me (behind me is the past, im about the future baby!), so for me, its likely i would never know he was there.

That Vette is on a whole other level than the other cars. Look at when he's following the other cars, their gunning it and he's barely on the throttle keeping pace with them.
