Oh, and my dad had another stroke.
Needless to say, I drove very slow and careful today...didn't need to test fate. 
So, anyone know someone hiring right now...I can work from here...no relocating.

Yeah....been a peachy day.
It all started with issues with my leg humping...then this fun. 
WTF can you do. And rent is due in 2 days.

Software/Web design.
Had an interview spur of the moment today (thanks for the hookup Brad - slostang  ) ... Was doing real well until I had a total brain fart on a simple SQL query...fucking "HAVING" clauses. The other two coding tests I did well on once I got over the other short brain fart on how to find all prime numbers below any entered number and dump them into a list box.
This place is looking for a Sr. Level developer superman type...I'm more of a middle level developer clark kent type....so I guess we will see. Not holding much hope for it though.
Local ford dealership is looking for an IT guy...but I'm not overly experienced in that...and it is at the same dealership where we bought the GT....and that wasn't exactly a smooth transaction.

Go for the sales dept at the dealership man, if anything ever falls through where I am now that's where I'm going, parts sales. If you get your clientell setup right you can make some serious money.

^^This man speaks the truth. Just about any postion at a dealership can make pretty good money. If I could of stuck it out when I worked at the local ford dealer I'd probably be selling cars today, but it sucked there so I didn't stick around.

You don't know how right of a decision it is to sell my cobra the way finances are right now...
HOwever, I think I would go homeless first....and hide it somewhere so no one could repo it before I sold it. I just can't bring myself to sell it.
I've been offered $35k for it by various people I run into at times...I just can't bring myself to sell it.

A couple of the offers, I know the people and they have that kind of dough laying around doing nothing....and I could buy the car back from them like tommy boy did...however I would have to pay the 35k they paid me...and I wouldn't have that kind of cash an no bank would finance 35k on a 25k car.
I'm close to selling the GT as well...been offered 18-20k for it several times....
It's an impossible decision.

I hear that !! I was close to selling mine but once I refigured the total income Denise and myself bring in ,I was getting hosed seems I was paying 63 % of the bills and she's been coasting by paying the balance THAT HAS NOW CHANGED

my wife is disabled and can not work so I pay 100% of the bills and our bonuses got cut and Ive went through my savings account with my new mortage so I just applied online to work at Coke on the weekends  |

werd. bought for 22k, sold for 22,5k, repurchased for 25k including TTL and he modded it a little more on top of that than it was when i had it, plus got out of the GT at the same time. only thing that sucked is when i had it first, my interest rate was 4.49%, but since rates suck horrid now im at 6.99%, once they come down ill probably refinance, put like 5k$ down and try for a shorter term and a better interest rate.
if dealerships can sell the car for 30k+ banks will have no trouble issuing a loan for that amount. mine kbb'd for 27k, and iirc you can get a loan for a certain percentage more than kbb value.

I had to !! !!!! I borrowed 5,000 from my 401 for the Dowm payment on the place and there taken 105.00 a week out to re-pay the loan So Denise will be paying her fair share of the bills

thats why i live in Westminster, MD as it is much more affordable there... 53 miles from my work (but I only work 3-4 days a week)
