I have an 89LX 5.0. Its got some rough spots. usual rust spot on the passenger quarter, hasn't gone through yet. The drivers door is rusted through on the bottom. Plus the hatch is rusted. Now the major problems are I think the frame has twisted since the passenger door doesn't line up and there is an 8 inch crack in the windshield half way starting at the A-post. Can the frame be straightened and generally for how much?

for 2100 bucks you could buy a nice coupe and swap your stuff over perahps

you may want someone to take a look at the a pillar. i had the same problem where the passanger door wouldnt line up. and started to notice that the passanger side a pillar is cracked.

likewise, frame may not be twisted but car may have been abused at the track, I've seen windshields crack due to launching on slicks without subframe connectors

as for door not lining up, open the door, grab bottom of door and lift up and down... if door moves you need pins... door is probably loose, IE : it won't line up -- This is a COMMON problem
