If you haer your rear end whinning then the gears are not installed correctly. The moan from the tires is just what happens when they are A) just a loud tire or B) not taken care of correctly.

There are sound deadening kits out there. However, a quick solution is a thick trunk carpet made by Lloyd's (with a Mustang logo)...it will definitely muffle a good portion of the road noise that is coming through the trunk area and it's easy to do (no tearing any panels out, etc.).

If you can still hear the tires/road noise your exhaust just isn't loud enough.

My girlfriend's family thinks that my exhaust is "too damn loud". Well, if just the Borla stingers are too much for them, I hope they enjoy the next time I come around because I'll be running the Bassani modular x-pipe with the O/R set-up. Mwa ha ha. Amen to a loud Mustang!
