If you want the best handling turn key Mustang money can buy then here you go. Griggs is building three different models you can buy from them(Street, Track, and Race). One thing I like that Griggs offers is a SLA front suspension which is a big improvement on the Foxbody based platforms and I would assume its a nice step up from the McPhersons on the S197 Mustangs as well. Like most high performance cars they are not cheap, but they are pretty awesome. It has some fugly wheels though.
Heres a link. Be sure to watch the video of it.

(Herbstang & Meteorachick)
I find it very interesting how someone who has the balls and the initial investment to make mustangs---which naturally handle like shit--get bashed for being very very competitive and improve handling like Griggs has done. Good job Griggs, I'd like to see anyone on this site come up with something competitive to Griggs from scratch that is a mustang and a S197 platform.
Your combined knowledge about roadracing is about as much as a 3rd grader.

excuse me? i'm allowed to have my own opinion on it, and honestly, i just wasn't that impressed with it. it looks like an import, and while yeah, it may handle better, its just not for me.
for someone new to this site, you need to learn how to communicate with other people on here and refrain from name calling.

Hey...y'all need to lay off. That car is bad ass...you know ho I know? Cause it says "YO" on the side. Now that is pimp.
Beyond the "YO"...I'm not that impressed either. It is just a handling upgrade. Yippie. Still looks like a basic 05+ to me...so it is meh at best. It can just take the "meh" around corners faster than the rest of them.

wow, "..looks like an import." No offense, but you just ass-slapped every 05-07 Mustang GT owner on this site so don't tell me I can or can not say what I want to say on any website. I think a more in depth reason for why anyone would not want this car is what is needed.......not the typical "loooks like import" reply that so many typical mustang owners say. Remember, cars do have brakes and they do need to turn occasionally.......hence that is where Bruce Griggs is trying to make mustangs compete against every other make (Dodge, Chevy, Porsche, Austin M, BMW). I might be a noob to this site, but I am not your typical mustang owner that only goes in straight line and knows how to light my rear tires up with smoke.
If Griggs made your car handle better, would you still be calling it an import? That is all he did with the S197 platform which is naturally the best platform mustang has ever had for open track racing.
Flame suit on..........

opinions are welcome on this site and they should be expressed. There are always times that some of us go overboard... just part of the internet. Not everyone will love certain cars or mods. They don't always appeal to everyone. That is why their are tons of different vehicles out there.
It is a nice car and I am sure it handles great. I am just not loving the look of the stock 05+ gts nor the hp/tq or I would be driving one right now. I decided on an 03 cobra instead of a brand new stang. Thats just what I wanted... not whats the best.

She is calling it an import because it LOOKS like an import. Not because it can turn and has good breaks, but because the appearance mods attached to said mustang makes it LOOK like an import... Reading comprehension owns you.

I know Griggs has had problems with their Control arms splitting and a few other things.
The way I look at it is Griggs builds better racecars, and ultimately better handling Mustangs. Their racetrack record shows it, but their components arent as good on the street as MM because their quite a bit weeker, and as you have said they have had some quality issues which you don't want on a DD. I also think MM spends more time developing products that suit the streetcar guy, whereas Griggs develops their produces more for the racetrack. I think both are very good at their nitches. I went with MM though and love their produces.
