Name that vacuum hose...

Noticed this when i was looking to put the inner fender in on the pass side tonight:


and goes back in side the fenderwell here:


Hose runs back to a vacuum tree or switch (cant remember which one) located between the fender apron and the firewall, down in the corner.

Anyone have any ideas? Im completely lost with it...

You still have both carbon cans on your car?

.... it's been ages since I've looked at my carbon canisters, so I can't even remember what lines are in that area and if there's anything like that going to them, but that's just my first thought. There's so many useless lines that I've removed since pulling out my EGR crap, I can't even remember anymore.

that goes to the vacuum canister, im almost positive, what it does it contain vacuum for the a/c controls+ect. so that when the motor goes into a positive crankcase condition the a/c or heat doesn't suddenly change condition also.

x2 Vacuum canister is also my guess.
