welcome to the site! just out of curiousity, i have never heard of a "spring edition"....what exactly is that?

Only a couple thousand "Spring Editions" were produced w\a "special" trim package & 17" wheels, pics to follow soon.

Looks like, from what I just read, that the spring editions were left over 99 anniversary editions as they came with the hood scoop and a stripe. I almost bought one that was red when I bought my white 00 GT...however it wasn't stickered as any kind of special edition. |

Here's Ford's explanation of the "Spring Edition",
"A special trim level for the GT was called Spring Feature and was a new trim level that only included the colors Zinc Yellow, Black, Silver, Performance Red, and White. The wheels and tires were 17 inches by 8 inches and were ready to perform. The side and hood scoops were body colored and the hood was accented by two black stripes. The bumper read "Mustang" and there were only 3,091 Mustang GTs produced with the Spring Feature trim level.

they have the polished versions of the 99 model 17in rims~ and the funny strips on the hood. One on each side of the scoop.
