If some of you haven't heard, Super Six Motorsports fabricated a M112 Adapter kit (M112 = Stock Eaton Cobra blower) for the 3.8. They are charging about $900 but thats a pretty good deal. You pay $900 buy a M112 off of ebay for $500 couple other little things and for $1500 you have yourself a twin screw blown V6. And on top of that, they said that any blower that is capable of going onto A cobra motor is capable with this kit, Kenne Bell, Whipple. etc. Now its time to start building a motor because the 3.8's are finally starting to get recognized!

by the time you are done you will have over 2k in the setup... and your hp/tq wont be super impressive. I would save up more and go with a single turbo. Make more power.

There is a website dedicated to this type of swap...it is called mini terminators I believe.
In regards to the KB's going on there, I think the current offerings would be too much for a 3.8...hell, the 2.8L KB is too much for stock 4.6 blocks let alone a 3.8. Hell, the 2.6L KB (smallest offered for the cobras now) is 2/3 the displacement of the motor.
The stock cobra eatons are going for 3-400 in unported form right now. That is prolly the best bet because you can't spin the shit out of them...and if you don't spin the hell out of the current twin screws (KB and whipple), you aren't going to get the full benefits of spending 3k.
Now, if you build a 4.2/4.3...and gind a way to intercool the setup (haven't checked the link, maybe the adapter allows an intercooler), then you could go with a 2.3L whipple or find a used 2.2 kb (but not before I get one...save it for me )...and spin the house down with it and you will kill any turbo numbers spec was refering to.

even stock boost levels are just about the limits for a stock V6/GT rotating assembly. whats the stock pulley size, like 3.25" and puts around 11psi? i think that alone is about as much as the stock rotating assemblies will take, especially with a roots type SC.
hell, with a built motor, you would still be pretty good with just going to smaller pulleys and perhaps a ported eaton. on a stroker setup then you might be better off going bigger with a small KB or Whipple, however if you want big power and have the means to build a setup to handle it, you might as well not waste your money on inefficient roots blowers and strap down twins and make even more power at less boost levels. unless you really like the whine.

I think it's just for the ability to say "I have a cobra blower on my 6."
That and people fall in love with the whine when you hear one in person.

I think is the biggest reason right there. Nothing beats the whine....the only thing better is the whine of a KB2.2L....that is just pure sex.

its cool, though a KB whine is alot better than the Eaton whine.

No numbers? Anyone have any more info other than the fact that you strap on a cobra blower? I am looking to super/turbo my car and I need to figure out some good numbers on the setups.
