I know there are many rear end threads but I did wan to "jack" them.
Will the 3.27 gt gear fit in my v6? I found some used 3.27 gears cheap. I want a little more acceleration but maintain my economy for now. Where can find these new? Also t-lock, I want tlock but would I need a whole new axle? or rear end?

No, the gears from the 8.8" rear in the GT will not fit in the 7.5" rear in the V6. Besides, it not a good idea to take used gears from a rear end and put them in another due to wear patterns.
If you really want T-Lock and would be happy with the stock 3.27 gearing from the GT, you're best bet is to look from a complete GT rear end. It's a direct swap with the V6 rear end and can probably be found for around $500 or less. That's a lot less than you'll spend on new gears, a T-Lok and install on the 7.5 rear. Plus you get all the strength advantages of the 8.8.

Like said above if you wish to have 3.27 gears buy a complete GT rear end (differnet years vary in how wide they are so get one in the same year style as yours if possible)
I would not go 3.27s... go 3.73's at least or dont waste your time.

i agree with spector v middle wa of better acceleration is actually 3:55 but the best all around gears is atleast 3:73 because the acceleration is like night and day compared to stock v6 gears but your gas wont drop tremendously.

28 spline as far as I know for all of those rear end axles and the axles from teh 7.5 are interchangable with the 8.8 as well (as far as i know) abs can get ya but you can just swap it out.

I was asking because I am looking for a tlock. Do the 94 to 98 gts come stock with tlock? What is ABS?

you cant use a traction lock unit from a gt as they fit 8.8 rear ends. You need one for a 7.5 inch rear end like the ones that come in rangers.
The abs is a little sensor and a ring gear on the axle ends~ you can take this out I am sure without to much issue. It can be a pain to get the axle shafts out of the rear end with ABS crap on them FYI (due to getting to the C clips)

1: 95 GT w/89,000 mi 3.27
2: 96 GT w/96,000 mi ?.??
3: 97 GT w/111,000 mi ?.??

I am just going to get gears for now. If I get gears I will need a chip or tuner to recalibrate correct speed. However, I have looked all over and I cannot find a chip or tuner for my 94 v6!!! know where I could get one?

The issue with finding 3.73s as it is VERY hard to find a GT rear that has them installed. The factory usually put 2.73, 3.08, or 3.27s in the Mustang... so mostly you just have to buy the gears, tlok unit, and get it installed.
Installing MUST BE DONE RIGHT. Get a written warranty to protect aginst gear whine and breakage (such as bolts comming off the ring gear and chewing up your rear diff). If a company does not know how to set backlash, pinion depth, the crush sleeve, and check the wear pattern etc etc then they do NOT need to install your gears. DO NOT BUY USED PARTS EITHER. Buy ford racing 3.73 gears and a ford tlok for a 7.5 inch diff (if you build your 7.5 inch instead of an 8.8) dont buy other brand gears.
