does anyone know if you can run tailpipes before the back wheels in north carolina going for a new look just painted the car dark red with bright metallic silver stipes im tired of seeing a million mustang so i custom mixed my paint with two other reds and my two different silvers together i have true duals but tired of looking at them from the back i wanna cut a hole in my side skirt and run them out before the back wheels like the old ac cobra.does anyone have this setup?

You won't be able to do it with the factory sideskirts. What you will need are the Roush sideskirts for side exhaust. They're made already, fit and look right.

i have a bodykit that will work. thanks for the advice. those factory ones your right wouldnt work because it to round and would probably break if i drilled a hole in it if it does come a problem ill either get a roush kit or just run them past the side skirts all togehter
