So I fell through the ceiling today...

So Kyle comes over to help put the boxes that need storing in the attic today...it is about 90% floored up there where I need to walk, and i found one of the few spots where you step down about a foot from one level to the next....there is a space in the plywood. Luckily, my right leg caught up on the floored part or else that would have been a 12 foot fall into the living room onto the edge of a chair next to a built in book case...it would have been ugly.
Instead, I am now sitting here with a very sore right ankel that is developing a nice bruise. I iced it down already...and can move it, but it hurts to walk on it. Basically, my whole shin is bruised right now right along the edge of the bone...and my ankel has a nice shaped bruise to match the beam it got hooked on.
Yup...we're have fun now. 
Hopefully the LSU game will at least be enjoyable....and the SVTP get together tonight...

Prolly get one later...I'm charging batteries for the GTG tonight.
Thought I'd be able to get some good shots of a swollen ankel or something too, but it seems to be doing ok. I can't transition any weight forward when I walk on that foot, but I don't think it is broken or anything. It does feel kind of clunky when I try to rotate my foot though amd where it is swollen it feels like you are squeezing a bean bag when you press on it...
Fun fun day so far. lol

lol reminds of when these guys installed our first alarm system in our house. You could hear them working in the attic and all of a sudden a large smashing sound and someone's foot coming down from the ceiling lol

ummm...ouch? lol. wow, i don't talk to you in a few days and look what happens...haha. anyway, glad you didn't get hurt, that would have been horrible falling all the way through. i am about 99.9% sure i would have been laughing (as long as you didn't get hurt) lol...it was just the way you set up the story. hope your weekend turned out better today though...haha! hope you're feeling better silly...

ankle is fine today, but the muscle along my shin is tight as a mo fo today...the whole right side of my calf feels like it is in constant clench....and my big toe is still numb.
