lol but it would kill the mustang. who would buy a Mustang GT when said drivetrain above would run circles around one?
Australia doesnt have a strong Mustang following, which is why FPV can do such awesome cars, they dont have to worry about stepping on the mustangs toes (hoofs?) everytime technology advances and the mustang doesnt.
plus Australia doesnt have as strict emissions as we have. Ford would have to severly detune the FPV vehicles, add 4 catalytics, smog shit, etc. to make it stateside.
besides, iirc if you do the currency conversion, the good FPV vehicles come in somewhere around 45-55k msrp in american currency. thats a used GT500 or a used C6 ZO6 and those would pretty much annihilate mostly any FPV vehicle.

300 n/a bhp from a 281 ci SOHC motor, made to run on 87 octane = pretty good. |

i doubt it would kill the mustang. some people need 4 doors and want a fast car so this would be great for ford. if anything a car like this would take away sells from the charger and g8. gm got the GTO and G8 to be sold here and i don't see why ford couldn't with this car. |

they should have had 300hp/tq back in 1996 when the camaro's and trans ams etc had them owned in the performance market.
