94 GT New engine, now have weird Electrical Probs... Ideas?

I just had a new longblock installed 19 NOV 2007.

Since the install, my MODIS Scanner wont detect the ECM through the OBDII port under the dash and the Radio/AMP wont work.

The Radio powers up fine, but no sound. I checked ALL the fuses and relays, everything OK except one fuse under the hood #1 mini-fuse 10A, L Spd EDF MNTR, I have NO information on this unit, the fuse is ok but no power to or through with or without engine running.....

The rebuilders don't have a clue to what the problem is...

Before I took it to them I could read the ECM with a SnapOn Scanner 2500 (Old Style) and all the electronics worked fine. The only thing I had a problem with is that every now-n-then, it would blow the turn signal fuse if I let them fash too long...

You Fellas have any Ideas? Would be GREATLY Appreciated...

I just had the turn signal problem a few weeks ago....all i did was check to see what else is on that circuit....my problem ended up being my back up light switch down on the tranny...it was shorting and blowing the fuse......as for the other problems, maybe check to see of your speakers are connected into the head unit, as for the code reader, 94 is OBD I so check to see if the plug for that works (It's under the hood on the passenger side by the firewall). they make OBD I scanners you can pick up like the hand held OBD II. Maybe the rebuilders didn't reconnect the OBD II plug? Thats about the only thing i can think of

L Spd EDF MNTR ends up being the Low speed Fan relay for the radiator...

Apparently the AMPS are not powering up, I tested the head unit directly with a speaker and it worked fine... I guess I will have to wire the speakers direct and by-pass the factory amp...........
