Hey whats up guys? Havent posted in a while.. but I started hearing this clacking sound when I turn on my car. It does it most while warming up, but i hear it the whole time im driving. Any ideas? Some people said it might be my pistons, some have said fuel injector.. some have said exhaust leak..
If it is a serious problem, I might just throw in a new engine.. I want a built v6. where would I go about finding a good one.. and what kind of price range would I be looking at for the engine plus install? thanks!

supersixmotorsports.com has a good bit of v6 stuff. It could be an exhaust leak, a rod knocking, etc. You might have to let a mechanic diagnose it~

I had a knock for 3 years. It finally gave out on me. Never found out what caused it.

To be honest, it's probably your passenger side exhaust manifold. Check it where the y-pipe bolts to the manifold. It has probably broken there.

Try the old broken broom handle trick to see if you can find where its coming from also some Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer might help shut it up some.

It works well just place it along various points along the block and you will know when you find it, simply put it will sound way off the other option is a stethiscope, more than likely miss spelled..lol
